Charleston Lake Fishing Report by Dale Gibson - 2006 Season

Another great season with a few twists!  Opening day of bass was the best
ever, boating 14 smallies over 18".  We caught more pike than usual last
summer and the lake trout were high all summer and we cought with some
nice ones.   Slow drifts in Eastern Waters off Huckleberry Hollow produced
huge smallmouth and trout to 9 lb!  Charleston Lake in my view is the best
body of water in Ontario to tackle world class smallmouth.   We finished off
the season with   our customers from PA all landing over 24 smallies  over
18" daily  with Spike and Ken  landing monsters on a beautiful brisk October
day.  Book a day this season with Capt Dale (Hoot) Gibson and give yourself
a treat on beautiful Charleston Lake!
